About The Speedway: Every Tuesday night The Place in downtown Charlottesville hosts 1/27th scale RC (radio controlled) races. 1/27th scale includes Mini-Z, Iwaver, and Xmod remote control cars. Race nights are kept friendly and family oriented. There will be always be someone there to help with questions or just let you loose with a demo car. The Place stocks a variety of Mini-z's RTR (ready to run) sets and replacement parts.
